Simplicity by design
The Wave® music system was engineered for easy enjoyment, right out of the box. No setup required: just plug it in and you're ready to go. The FM/AM radio and CD player are built in. There's an auxiliary input for your MP3 or other portable player, and a headphone jack for keeping the music to yourself.
The system's sleek appearance is uninterrupted by buttons, with all controls on a handy, slim remote. The large display panel is brightly lit and easy to read, prominently displaying the artist, title and album names of your MP3 CDs.
Features
Proprietary waveguide speaker technology enables full-bodied sound, especially in lower registers, for more natural-sounding bass and percussion instruments.
Slim infrared remote control lets you conveniently control system functions from just about anywhere in the room.
Slot-loaded CD player easily loads CDs or MP3 CDs. The front-loading design permits more placement options than traditional bookshelf stereos.
Large visual display with adjustable brightness and automatic nighttime dimming enhances viewing of clock radio display. Also indicates audio source and shows track, title and artist on suitably encoded MP3 CDs.
Digital FM/AM tuner with seek function provides easy access to your favorite radio programs with built-in FM/AM antennas. Includes memory settings for six FM and six AM stations.
Automatic ramping for a more pleasant listening experience. Volume starts low and gently increases when the unit is turned on or alarm clock is activated.

Can I play my iPod® through the Wave® music system?
Yes. The optional Wave® connect kit for iPod was specifically designed for this purpose. It has a dock that plays and charges your iPod, and a remote that controls both the Wave® system and basic iPod functions. You may also play your iPod through the system's auxiliary input using an optional mini stereo cable. Note: Playing through the auxiliary port will neither charge your iPod nor enable any remote control of iPod functions.

How many CDs can I load into the Wave® music system?
The Wave® music system has one CD slot. Add the optional multi-CD changer for three more, making a total of four.

Can I use headphones with the Wave® music system?
Yes. The Wave® music system comes with a headphone jack.

Can I play MP3 CDs on the Wave® music system?
Yes. The Wave® music system plays CD-R and CD-RW audio discs as well as MP3 data discs. Title and artist of each song are displayed.

Is the Wave® music system compatible with Bose® link?
Yes. The Wave® music system can be used as Lifestyle® system expansion speakers via Bose® link.

The one annoying thing about this is the sound of the CD spinning. I usually listen to it at night when I am falling asleep and, as happened with the three other players I have purchased over the last 5 years, I can hear the CD spinning. Maybe I play it too softly to cover up the sound...it's still annoying. Other than this, I love the music system. Still can't believe the sound quality when the volume was on 80 playing the demo CD...WOW!

I purchased this system for my almost 80 year old Mother. We had gone thru a number of Radio/CD/players and were never satisfied. I already have a BOSE wave radio and she asked why I couldn't get her one of those with the CD Player. I replied "well I can"...so thus the story of her first BOSE system. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! It's easy for her to use as well since I ordered the larger remote with it.
Keep up the good work...I've had my wave radio since they first came out....still works like a charm!!

I actually dance all over my house, boogie, fast trot, and even do some ballet steps to the bose music, it is so pure and clean, it moves me Not to mention the beautiful mood it puts my husband in who is depressed as he is on Hospice, and has COPD, I am so grateful for the music it puts out!

I love the sound and the size of the system. I use the alarm to wake up to cd music. My only wish would be that it had utility buttons on the system body, so I could operate it there as well as with the remote. I have to make sure the remote is somewhere near the system to turn off the alarm. It would be nice to just hit a button on the system without locating the remote and have the option to operate the system without the remote if I wished. Other than that, I am thrilled with my purchase.
