Interns & Co-ops

Internships and co-ops give you a chance to gain the inside track on a unique and rewarding work
experience—as part of the Bose team.

Our goal is to make your internship or co-op experience exciting and meaningful—a valuable opportunity to learn about the industry and Bose in particular. You will enrich your classroom work with a real-life perspective and develop valuable skills necessary to succeed after graduation.

Here is an overview of our program:

Dates

Internship start and end dates are flexible but most start in May and end in August. Co-op positions can run for three, four or six months depending on your school's co-op cycle. Most start in January, May or September, but dates can be flexible. Recruitment for all internships and co-ops begins five months prior to position start dates.

Requirements

Full-time students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who have completed their freshman year.

Transportation assistance

Most of our internship and co-op positions are in Framingham, MA, or surrounding area. Many interns and co-ops reside in Boston where there is a more vibrant and active student body. Our facilities are not easily accessible by public transportation, so most students drive or carpool to Bose. We can help find the best commuting options for you.

Growth opportunities

We view our interns and co-ops as a great source for regular full-time hires. These positions provide you with a wonderful opportunity to determine if joining Bose is right for you. All co-ops and interns accrue service time toward full-time benefits.

About Bose Summer Breakfast series
We believe learning does not stop with your assignment. All interns and co-ops are invited to weekly talks that are led by various members from all areas of Bose, including the company president and executives. And breakfast is on the house.

Product discounts
A popular benefit of working at Bose: owning our products at a discount. As a temporary employee you are eligible for the same product discounts as all Bose employees.

Social events
The Bose College Relations team organizes intern and co-op events throughout the year. Past events have included Boston sporting events, Duck Tours around Boston, Comedy Club, IMAX shows, Blue Man Group and much more. These events are a great way to see the area and get to know the other students working with us.

Paid holidays
Three months of Bose service will qualify you for paid holidays.

All interns and co-ops are eligible to participate in our 401(k) program.
