Returns and exchanges

Satisfaction is guaranteed on all Bose® products purchased by consumers directly from Bose. We want you to be thrilled, so if you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply return it within the 30-day* trial period for a full refund.
*45 days for L1® systems.

Please note: Orders of QC®15 headphones customized with ColorWare are created just for you; returns on this product within 30 days will incur a 25% restocking fee.

Returning a product

If you purchased a product on Bose.com and feel that it just isn't right for you:

  1. Call 1-800-999-2673 to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. This number helps us quickly track the status of your return
  2. Pack the product in its original box. If you do not have the original box, mention this to the customer service representative when you call
  3. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box
  4. Be sure to use a package-shipping service such as United Parcel Service, Federal Express or the United States Postal Service that is able to track shipments. Ship the package to:

  5. When we receive your return, we will credit the payment method used to make the purchase. Please allow several days for the refund to be processed.

Note: Please be sure to obtain an RMA number and clearly write it on the outside of the box. Failure to do so may result in your package being refused or cause delays in processing your refund.

If you purchased your product at a Bose store, please return it there. Bose stores cannot, unfortunately, accept returns of products purchased from Bose.com or by phone. Also, Bose does not accept returns of Bose products purchased from other retailers.

If you purchased a Bose VideoWave® entertainment system and wish to return it, just call us at 800-378-8053. We'll arrange for an Bose Authorized Service Provider to pick up the VideoWave system and all corresponding accessories.

Exchanging a product

If you are experiencing any issues with the use or enjoyment of a product purchased on Bose.com, we can help resolve them. Please call 1-800-999 2673.

If you purchased your product at a Bose store, you may exchange it at any Bose store. Bose stores cannot, unfortunately, accept exchanges of products purchased from Bose.com or by phone. Also, Bose does not accept exchanges of Bose products purchased from other retailers.

Returning or exchanging a holiday gift

If you receive a holiday gift purchased directly from Bose between November 1 and December 31, you have until the following January 31 to return or exchange it. Please follow the instructions above.
