Greg and Lyne

Greg and Lyne experienced their first Bose® custom home audio when they moved into their new home. "At first," says Greg, "our intent was to move the sound system we’d had in our old home. But we met with an audio consultant and learned that not only was it going to be a technical challenge to move it, but it was going to cost us thousands of dollars, as well." He suggested they consider a Bose custom audio system, which they soon realized was more user friendly and cost-effective.

They had a fantastic relationship with the installer. "He was great at making the system fit our needs. He helped us figure out all of the different applications, like putting sound in our sun room and getting a home theater. We were really surprised at how easy the process was."

Quality and comfort
The couple liked the fact that the system is completely unobtrusive—that it works well with the decor—but initially they wondered about its sound quality. "Our only reservation was whether we would be able to get the sound that we wanted out of such small speakers. But with the Bose system, it in fact sounded much clearer than what we had before. Now we notice the music and not the system."

What’s more, they can actually use it. "The other system was versatile," says Greg, "but it was more complex than our Bose system and less practical. There was only one person in the household who could run it because it was so difficult." Greg and Lyne agree that the Bose system is just much more intuitive. "It worked perfectly from the start. We had our other system for two years, and we never worked out all of the bugs."
