Though complex on the inside, the SoundDock 10 Bluetooth system is delightfully easy to use, with an equally uncomplicated exterior design. Just place your compatible iPhone or iPod into the dock and play. The system charges the iPhone or iPod while it's docked. The remote control lets you conveniently operate the system and navigate among your playlists.
And when you want to switch to a Bluetooth device, just swap out the dock for iPod for the Bluetooth dock and wirelessly connect with any Bluetooth device: smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc. In a snap you're ready to stream music stored on your device or from Internet sources like Pandora® or Spotify®. Need to multitask? You can keep using your device while you listen to the music.
The adaptability of the system extends beyond docking and streaming. The auxiliary port lets you enjoy additional sound sources, too—such as a tablet, MP3 or DVD player. There's even an output for watching video from your iPod on your TV while listening to it on the system.

The SoundDock 10 Bluetooth system comes with two docking elements, a universal dock adapter for your iPod/iPhone and Bluetooth adapter. Simply unplug the system and remove the universal adapter from the dock, then insert the Bluetooth dock (it snaps securely into place). When you plug the system in again, the Bluetooth light will blink to indicate the system is in discoverable mode. Turn on the Bluetooth feature in your music phone (or other device) and select "Bose SoundDock 10" from the list of found devices.
Any Bluetooth phone purchased after January 2007 is likely to work. Phones purchased before that date may also work. To be sure, simply bring your phone to a Bose® store and try it out.
