Soft, cushioned earcups gently surround your ears, yet remain comfortable for hours so you can easily focus on your music.
They come in two options: AE2; and AE2i with features designed for easy iPhone calling and an inline remote that controls your Apple® product.

The around-ear design, combined with TriPort® acoustic headphone structure, let you really get into your music, game or movie. The clarity and range of sound provide an audio experience that conventional headphones can't match.
The earcups are angled to gently follow the contour of your ears, while the adjustable, cushioned headband distributes weight evenly across the top of your head. Together, they help provide hours of comfortable listening. You just might forget you're even wearing headphones.
Convenience and durability
These headphones have been redesigned with features and materials that provide lasting quality. The audio cable attaches to a single earcup for greater freedom of movement and less tangling, and detaches for convenient storage. The earcups rotate to fold flat in the carry bag for easy travel.
In tune and in touch
The AE2i headphones are designed specifically for use with select Apple® products. You can take calls on your iPhone and switch between calls and music with one-touch ease. The integrated inline remote, located on the back of the microphone, lets you control your iPod, iPhone and other Apple devices. Adjust volume, play/pause tracks, skip tracks forward/backward, fast forward/rewind and change playlists—all while enjoying your music with Bose sound.

Bose acoustic equalization fine-tunes the frequency response of the headphones for exceptional audio performance.
Inline three-button remote (AE2i headphones only) controls volume, track selection and voice applications on select Apple products, and switches between calls and music.
Inline microphone (AE2i headphones only) allows for hands-free iPhone calling and access to certain voice applications, such as VoiceOver and Voice Control.
Soft, cushioned earcups gently surround your ears, providing an immersive audio experience and a comfortable fit.
Fold flat earcups allow for easy storage and transport.
Adjustable headband allows approximately three inches of adjustment in length. Sturdy design features soft cushion for added comfort.
Detachable cable on a single earcup means less tangling and greater freedom of movement than Y-cables.
Drawstring carry bag stores headphones for convenient transport.
Hologram label provides a visual identifier and unique product code signifying the headphones are a genuine article from Bose. The hologram also has various security features that enable Bose to confirm the authenticity of the label. On Bose headphones, the label is located on the inside of the headband.

AE2i headphones work with select Apple products including most iPhone®, iPad®, iPod® and laptop models.

Can the AE2i headphones initiate voice commands on my mobile phone?
Yes. The inline microphone provides hands-free calling and accesses certain voice applications, such as VoiceOver or Voice Control, where available.

Are around-ear headphones noise cancelling?
No. While AE2/AE2i headphones may physically block some noise, they aren't specifically designed for this purpose and don't include active noise cancelling technology.

Will Bose® around-ear headphones work with non-Apple devices?
While some functions may work, others may not. Because AE2i headphones were designed specifically for use with Apple devices only, we don't recommend pairing them with non-Apple devices.

Can I use Bose® AE2/AE2i audio headphones with my portable or home audio equipment?
Yes. The headphones can be used with CD players, DVD players, digital music players, personal computers—practically any device with a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Do the headphones fold flat for storage?
Yes. The earcups rotate in one direction, allowing them to lie flat.
