The Bose MIE2 mobile headset sets a new standard for audio reproduction that conventional mobile headsets can't match. Re-engineered from the inside out, it features an enhanced acoustic design for smoother, more lifelike-sounding music. A new port design works with our proprietary TriPort® acoustic headphone structure for more natural lows. Your calls will sound clearer, too, with the added benefit of hearing them in "stereo" instead of through a single earpiece.

How comfortable is the Bose® MIE2 mobile headset?
Like Bose IE2 audio headphones, the Bose MIE2 headset was designed for a comfortable fit, but also a stable one. Our redesigned StayHear™ tips provide that stable, in-ear fit, ideal for extended wear. The material and shape of the ear tips were specifically selected, designed and tested for comfort and stability. The tips come in S, M and L sizes so you can choose what fits best. The original-style tips also are included in S, M and L for customers who prefer this fit.

How do I connect the Bose MIE2 mobile headset to my phone?
The Bose MIE2 mobile headset plugs into music-enabled mobile phones at the headphone/headset jack. You must connect the headset to your phone either by plugging it in directly or by using one of the two included 2.5 mm adapters.

What type of microphone is used with the Bose MIE2 mobile headset?
The Bose MIE2 mobile headset uses an omnidirectional, inline microphone. An omnidirectional microphone generally picks up sound from any direction, regardless of where the microphone is pointed.

How do I use the Bose MIE2 mobile headset for listening to music and taking/ending calls?
If you have music stored on your mobile phone, you enjoy it through the Bose MIE2 mobile headset. When a call comes in, simply press the answer/end button on the microphone to conduct a call. To end the call, press the answer/end button again. Some phones may require you to hold the answer/end button for a few seconds to perform these functions.

Are these headphones noise cancelling?
No. While the ear tips may physically block some noise, the headphones aren't specifically designed for this purpose, and they don't include active noise cancelling technology.
