The Bose® 3·2·1 GSX Series III DVD home entertainment system puts you at the center of exciting home theater with just two visible Gemstone® speaker arrays and a hideaway Acoustimass® module. Setup is simple because, unlike traditional five-speaker surround systems, there are no center or rear speakers. An elegant media center features a progressive scan DVD/CD player with an HDMI output and AM/FM tuner. You'll enjoy vivid detail in your movies and sports with video resolution up to 1080p over HDMI.
The 3·2·1 GSX system digitally stores and organizes up to 200 hours of music from your CDs. The uMusic®+ intelligent playback system actually listens to your musical choices and learns your preferences, then makes selections based on what you like. No more searching for CDs or deciding which tracks to listen to: The uMusic+ system delivers the songs you want to hear.
Two compact Gemstone speaker arrays produce realistic effects you might expect from a five-speaker system. A hideaway Acoustimass module delivers emphatic low notes, while keeping a low profile in a corner, or even out of sight. So everything blends more easily with your décor. Setup is easier than traditional 5.1-channel home theater surround sound systems. Just connect three wires and plug the system in for basic operation.
Proprietary TrueSpace® digital processing circuitry produces pure Bose sound that convincingly sweeps across your room. And Videostage® 5 decoding circuitry will also liven up classic movies and TV programs recorded before surround sound speaker systems became popular.
Features
uMusic®+ intelligent playback system lets you store music from CDs and MP3s and then easily find any song stored in the system. The playlist mode offers extensive functionality. And the intelligent playback mode can learn your tastes and create a tailored listening experience.

Gemstone speaker array design, combined with our TrueSpace digital processing circuitry, delivers the depth and performance of home theater sound.
Acoustimass module works in concert with the small speakers to deliver a fuller range of theater sound and effects. The patented Bose design produces low frequencies for all channels with no audible distortion.
Universal remote control uses an infrared beam to let you command your television, video source (e.g., cable box or satellite receiver) and most of your home theater entertainment system devices together with your DVD system.
Digital 5.1 decoding provides improved realism from 5.1-encoded DVDs, DBS or HDTV.
Proprietary Videostage® 5 decoding and post-processing circuitry, combined with digital 5.1 decoding and DTS®, delivers a high quality, multichannel surround sound experience from practically any source: DVDs, videocassettes, stereo CDs, even older mono TV shows and movies.
Digital Dynamic Range® speaker compression circuitry enables you to hear soft sounds (particularly dialogue) even at low volumes—and still appreciate the impact of loud special effects.

Yes, but 3·2·1 systems can only receive audio streams from a Lifestyle® system. The 3·2·1 systems cannot transmit audio streams to other rooms in your home.
