The Lifestyle® 35 Series IV DVD home entertainment system delivers captivating 5.1-channel surround sound with award-winning Jewel Cube® speaker arrays, a sleek horizontal center-channel speaker and our high-performing Acoustimass® module. It's easy to integrate this home entertainment system with other sources, including those with HDMI. And you can customize sound to your room's acoustics with the ADAPTiQ® system.
The innovative ADAPTiQ audio calibration system, found in all Lifestyle® systems, analyzes then adjusts the system's sound to your room's dimensions, speaker placement and preferred seating locations. You simply enjoy home theater performance with no need for further adjustments to your system. Or your room.
A brushed silver media center includes a progressive scan DVD/CD player and AM/FM tuner. Jewel Cube® speakers deliver full surround sound but stand just 4½" high. The horizontal center-channel speaker offers crisp, on-screen dialogue and is an ideal match for flat-panel televisions. The Acoustimass module delivers resonant low tones for added depth in your movies and music.
Simplicity for your video sources
The VS-2 video enhancer automatically synchronizes the audio and video you want at the touch of a button. You'll receive the highest video resolution your TV can accept, all the way up to 1080p over HDMI. And you'll reduce the wiring to the back of the television to just one connection.

Bose® link whole-home audio technology lets you connect compatible Bose products to your Lifestyle® home entertainment system for listening in as many as 14 additional rooms—even outdoors.
Acoustimass® module works in concert with the small speakers to deliver a fuller range of theater sound and effects. The patented Bose design produces low frequencies for all channels with no audible distortion.
VS-2 video enhancer simplifies the integration of a Lifestyle® system with other video sources, including those with HDMI. Connect just one wire from the VS-2 video enhancer to the back of your TV, and receive the correct audio and video with the press of one button.
Digital 5.1 decoding provides improved realism from 5.1-encoded DVDs, DBS or HDTV.
Proprietary Videostage® 5 decoding and post-processing circuitry, combined with digital 5.1 decoding and DTS®, delivers a high quality, multichannel surround sound experience from practically any source: DVDs, videocassettes, stereo CDs, even older mono TV shows and movies.
Digital Dynamic Range® speaker compression circuitry enables you to hear soft sounds (particularly dialogue) even at low volumes—and still appreciate the impact of loud special effects.
Control integration enables the Lifestyle® system's radio-frequency remote to operate most popular functions on other infrared-receiving equipment in your home entertainment system: TV, VCR, PVR, cable box or satellite receiver. How can I expand my system to get sound throughout my home?
Bose® link whole-home audio technology lets you connect compatible Bose products to your Lifestyle® home entertainment system for listening in as many as 14 additional rooms—even outdoors. Taking sound to additional rooms can be done with a wired connection supplied with compatible products. Or you can use the Bose AL8 wireless homewide audio link to transmit audio from your Lifestyle system to other rooms—without wiring between those rooms.

Does this system support HDMI?
Yes. The VS2 video enhancer integrates other video sources—including HDMI—with your system and enables the synchronization of audio and video at the push of a button. The VS-2 video enhancer is included with the Lifestyle® 48, 38 and 35 systems, but is compatible with all Lifestyle® systems.

Is there a way to connect the rear speakers without running wires to the back of my room?
Yes. The SL2 wireless surround link (sold separately) is a transmitter/receiver package that allows you to plug in your rear speakers without running wires to the front of your system.
