The Onkyo® TX-NR414 receiver features network capabilities to allow streaming cloud-based audio and Internet radio through your main system. A front-panel USB port lets you connect your iPhone or iPod. And Zone 2 capability lets you enjoy surround sound in your main room, and play audio from a different source in another room equipped with an amp and speakers.
Onkyo's Advanced Music Optimizer and proprietary Wide Range Amplifier Technology provide surprising power and fidelity. The Advanced Music Optimizer also improves the quality of compressed music files to deliver more expansive audio. And music from your iPod or iPhone will sound clearer and cleaner, as the audio signal is transported in digital form (instead of analog) via the direct-digital connection.
With six HDMI® inputs, you can easily add high-definition devices, such as 3D Blu-ray players. And InstaPrevue™ visual port management technology makes it easy to preview—and switch—among the sources connected to the receiver without having to remember which device is connected to which port.
A universal remote control manages the most commonly used functions of your connected components. Additional system control is provided by Onkyo’s Remote App, which can transform your iPod/iPhone into a remote control, too.
