Exclusive Bose Unify™ technology provides easy-to-follow onscreen messages to guide you through the entire setup process. It even verifies your connections to take away all the guesswork. Enjoy up to 6 HD video sources—such as your Blu-ray Disc™ player, cable box and gaming system. Your 3D video sources will also work with an easy-to-install software update, available from Bose. And you'll control it all with one convenient remote.
The Lifestyle® T20 system offers breakthrough simplicity with the new Unify intelligent integration system. This proprietary technology enables a step-by-step walkthrough of your system setup. As you're attaching components to the control console, the system recommends the best connectors via on-screen messages. It even confirms that the connection was made properly.
Each connected product is automatically added to the source menu accessed on your TV screen. No more toggling through video inputs to find your source. If you add a Blu-ray player, it will be shown as a "Blu-ray player" in the on-screen menu. This makes it easy and intuitive for anyone to use the Unify system.
Unify technology also simplifies programming your Bose remote to control your Lifestyle® system and most anything attached to it. During setup, the Unify system references an internal database to identify each connected product, and automatically teaches the Bose remote to control it.

This Lifestyle® home theater system uses Direct/Reflecting® cube speakers to fill your room with compelling surround sound. You'll hear movies, music and sports come to life in convincing detail. The small speakers work in concert with a hideaway Acoustimass® module. Exclusive technology in the module helps provide the emotional intensity you feel at the theater or in a concert hall.

Unify™ intelligent integration system uses on-screen navigation to simplify system setup and everyday use. This proprietary technology walks you through setup, showing the right inputs and best connection options, and even verifies you've done it correctly. Clear, on-screen menus provide all the information you need for your connected sources.
ADAPTiQ® audio calibration system provides greater freedom of speaker placement. It analyzes the way your room's dimensions and other variables affect sound, then automatically adjusts the sound of your Lifestyle® surround sound system to the acoustics of your room.
Control console with connections for up to 6 HD sources (4 HDMI inputs)
Acoustimass® module works in concert with the small speakers to deliver a fuller range of theater sound and effects. The patented Bose design produces low frequencies for all channels with no audible distortion.
Remote controls your Bose system and the components you've attached. Works on radio frequency to operate through walls and floors.
Proprietary Videostage® 5 decoding and post-processing circuitry, combined with digital 5.1 decoding and DTS®, delivers a high quality, multichannel surround sound experience from practically any source: DVDs, videocassettes, stereo CDs, even older mono TV shows and movies.
Direct/Reflecting® speaker technology delivers lifelike spaciousness from a natural balance of reflected and direct sound—similar to a live performance.
Automatic video upscaling ensures movies and sports use the highest resolution capabilities of your display—up to 1080p over HDMI.

Do I need a separate receiver with this system?
No. The system includes a control console with several inputs/outputs. This system does not include an AM/FM tuner.

Can I attach an iPod® dock at a later date?
Yes, you can purchase a separate third-party iPod dock and connect it to one of the connectors on the back of your Lifestyle® T-class™ system. As with other sources, the Unify™ intelligent integration system will assist you in connecting the dock and setting up the Bose® remote to control your connected iPod.

Does the system support high-definition audio found on Blu-ray media?
Yes, this system can decode both Dolby TruHD and uncompressed multi-channel PCM.

What sources can I connect to my system?
You can connect a variety of HD sources, such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc™ player, DVD player, cable box, gaming system, Apple TV, Roku player and many more. If it has HDMI or analog connectors, this system can integrate it to give you a great audio-visual experience. The system is designed to be flexible—with 6 HD inputs and a remote code database that can be updated—so you can connect most any source you want, now and in the future.

Is this system compatible with 3D Blu-ray Disc players?
Yes, 3D compatibility is enabled with an easy-to-install software update, available at Bose Product Support. Once the download is complete, this Lifestyle® system has full 3D compatibility to ensure you see content as intended with your 3D TV and connected sources.
