The Wave® radio II is our latest version of the radio that changed people's idea of a time-honored medium. Digital electronics and updated speaker technology allow this innovative table top radio to deliver more accurate audio with deeper lows. And its uncluttered design makes it welcome in almost any room.
The heart of this Wave® system is its proprietary waveguide speaker technology exclusively from Bose. Two folded tubes strengthen low frequencies from the speakers, giving bass instruments from guitars to tubas and timpani a full, more natural presence.
Bose® digital electronics help reproduce more lifelike-sounding instruments and vocals. And talk radio fans will appreciate a feature that allows announcers to sound more natural by automatically compensating for the artificially boosted low frequencies found in some programs.
Engineered for simplicity
Setup is easy, with digital FM/AM tuner, amplifiers and speakers built right in. Just plug the radio in and enjoy Bose quality sound. Instead of buttons on the unit, everything's conveniently controlled with a well organized remote control.
The large, bright clock radio display panel is easy to read from across the room. Radio station, current time and alarm setting are all shown simultaneously. An auxiliary jack lets you connect an MP3 player, computer, TV or DVD player for use as a bookshelf stereo or home entertainment system. Or plug your headphones into the convenient headphone jack for private listening.

No. We suggest upgrading to the Wave® music system to enjoy CDs.

Can I connect my iPod® to the Wave® radio II?
Yes. The optional Wave® connect kit for iPod was specifically designed for this purpose. It has a dock that plays and charges your iPod, and a remote that controls both the Wave® radio II and basic iPod functions. You may also play your iPod through the system's auxiliary input using an optional mini stereo cable. Note: this will neither charge your iPod nor enable any remote control.

Can I use headphones with the Wave® radio II?
Yes. The Wave® radio II comes with a headphone jack.
