Connecting to external powered speakers

To add stereo sound to another area of your home, you can connect a powered stereo speaker system to the HEADPHONES jack. The additional speaker system must have a volume control and can be either AC- or battery-powered.

To make the connection, you will need a stereo cable (not supplied) that has a 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) male stereo plug on one end and the required speaker connectors on the other end.

In the setup menu, change the "LINE OUT" option from "HEADPHONES" to "SPEAKERS"

Insert the 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) male stereo plug into the HEADPHONES jack on the back of the Acoustic Wave® music system II

Insert the other end of the cable into the input jacks of the powered speaker system

While operating the Acoustic Wave® music system II:

Adjust the volume level of the Acoustic Wave® music system II using its remote control

Adjust the volume level of the external speaker system using its built-in volume control
