Low or missing audio and vocals (Stereo phase cancellation)
- Be sure the system is set up properly.
A connection may have come loose or may be incorrect. Check all connections
- Try a different input on the ToneMatch mixer.
Using the same source and same cable, try a different input on the ToneMatch audio engine
- Try a different source.
If the source is a microphone, try a different microphone. If the source is an instrument, try a different instrument. If the problem goes away with a different source connected, the problem is with the source
- Check how devices are connected to the ToneMatch mixer.
Stereo phase cancellation can be caused by sending 2 signals into one mono input. If the device (phone, laptop, tablet) is connected with a 3.5 mm stereo TRS to a 1/4” ‘stereo’ TRS mono input, it will not separate 2 signals properly in one connection. The result is lack of vocals, bass and many other aspects of a song. If this is the case, please provide the customer with part 353699-0010 3.5 mm stereo male to dual 1/4” mono male
