Playing a CD

The following CD formats are compatible with the Acoustic Wave® music system II: CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 on CD

To play a CD, follow these steps:

On the top of your system, press and release the tab on the CD compartment to allow it to open

Insert a CD, label side up, into the player

Push the cover down to close it

On the remote, press CD to turn the power on, and the CD will begin to play

Additional functions of the Acoustic Wave® music system II remote

While a track is playing the following buttons can be used:

play/pause: press to briefly stop cd play. press it again to resume cd play.

seek/track back: press once to skip to the beginning of the current track. press it again within three seconds to skip to the beginning of the previous track.

seek/track forward: press once to skip to the next track.

tune/mp3: press and hold the buttons to quickly scan backward or forward through a track.

stop: press to stop the cd.

Note: Because a CD spins at high speeds in the player, be sure to press the Stop button before removing a CD. If you leave CDs playing continuously with no user interaction, the system will automatically turn off after 24 hours.

CD play modes

On your remote, press Play Mode repeatedly to select your CD play option.

displayed mode description
normal play plays all tracks once in sequential order.
shuffle disc plays all tracks once in random order.
shuffle repeat repeats all tracks in a random order.
repeat disc repeats the disc from the beginning after the last track has played.
repeat track repeats the selected track continuously.
