Turn on or off the Bose system and connected devices at the same time

Your system can sync the power commands for your Bose system and other devices you have programmed your remote to control. This is useful to more easily power on or off your equipment (i.e. cable box, TV or Blu-ray player) with fewer button presses.

Changing the Power button functionality:

The Power button on your universal remote can be customized to power on/off your Bose system, TV and CBL/SAT box simultaneously. To turn on or off this feature:
  1. If you haven't yet, program your remote to control the cable/satellite box and TV. For more info, see Programming your remote
  2. On the remote control, simultaneously press and hold the CBL-SAT and TV buttons for 10 seconds until both buttons flash three times.
