Connecting your computer to your wireless network lets you use the Bose computer app with your Bose Wi-Fi systems. For example, you can access music stored on your computer and control your systems from the Bose app.

Apple AirPlay technology lets you wirelessly play audio from an AirPlay device (i.e. an iPhone or compatible app) and hear it through an AirPlay-compatible speaker—like your Bose speaker. For AirPlay to work, be sure both the device and the speaker are connected to the same network.

If you don't know the name of your network but you have a computer that is connected to that network, you can find the network name using the computer.

If you forgot or need to find the password for your Wi-Fi network, you can retrieve the password from a computer that is connected to that network as long as you have adminstrator access to the computer.

The Wi-Fi capability of your product can be enabled and disabled. This is useful for situations in which limited system functionality is needed (e.g. if you only plan to use auxiliary input).
