From time to time, updates will be available for your SoundTouch system. When available, the SoundTouch app will prompt you to update upon opening the app. You can also manually check if an update is available in the SoundTouch app by completing the following steps:
Lifestyle systems using the accessory SoundTouch adapter will search for updates automatically upon opening the SoundTouch app. If an update is available, the app will prompt you to update.

If you're experiencing issues with an update, you can update manually by following the steps below.
You will need a USB A to Micro USB cable to perform these steps.
Updates for your SoundTouch system can be done through the SoundTouch Wireless adapter.
If you're not using the adapter, see "Updating the control console only" section below.
If you are not using the SoundTouch Wireless adapter, you can still update the control console. This will keep your system updated with the latest fixes and features, and also make sure your remote control is updated with the most recent codes. You will need an empty USB thumb drive for these steps.
To update the console, follow these steps:
On the front of the control console, press Setup
Using the remote, scroll through the menu, select "Update" and follow the onscreen instructions
Run the System Updater and follow the onscreen instructions
