No. Although SoundLink Home is a Bluetooth speaker that can be moved from one place to another, it is not designed to withstand exposure to liquid. Keep it in a dry area and avoid using it in the bathroom or exposing it to wet environments and water.

Multipoint is a Bluetooth technology that allows your SoundLink Home to maintain a connection to two paired source devices at the same time. Your speaker will seamlessly transition between the two devices, so you’re always connected to the active source device.

You can connect SoundLink Home to another SoundLink Home Speaker. You can’t connect SoundLink Home to other Bose Bluetooth speakers or smart speakers and soundbars.

  1. Power on both speakers.
  2. Make sure one speaker is connected to your device or USB audio source. This will be the primary speaker.
  3. On the speaker connected to your device or USB audio source, press and hold the Bluetooth button and the Volume up button simultaneously until you hear “Press the Bluetooth and Volume down buttons simultaneously on a second Bose device.”
  4. On the other speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth button and the Volume down button simultaneously until you hear a tone. You will hear “Stereo Mode,” followed by “Left” on the primary speaker and “Right” on the secondary speaker.

We still have Bose floor model stereo speakers from the early 1980’s, unbelievable sound still and this has that same deep rich sound only more compact. We live everything Bose!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stereo Pairing Feature Is Amazing I've had a Bose Soundlink 2 and Soundlink 3 for 10 years. They are and have been great. The other day the battery on the Soundlink 3 would no longer take a charge so I looked on the Bose website to see what's new. I figured the technology had probably improved in 10 years. I decided to order a pair of the current Soundlink home speakers as the stereo pairing function very much appealed to me. These speakers are smaller than my other soundlinks, but they pack a much bigger punch. Especially when paired for stereo. I highly recommend. You really need to get the pair, though. I am very glad that I did. If you already own a pair, try playing some music from the late 60's / early 70's when stereo separation was strongly emphasized. I suggest going to Youtube and playing the following loudly if you want to really push the stereo function on this pair of speakers. Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland. More specifically, House Burning Down, Rainy Day Dream Away, and 1983 A Merman I would turn to be.

Based on high level of satisfaction with previous Bose products, I took a chance on the SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker on a “hearing unheard” basis. Unfortunately, I found the Bose sales and customer support online and at their toll free number to be woefully inadequate and unhelpful. They don’t seem to be well informed about their product, and I suspect I was deliberately disconnected by customer support.

Easiest to use speaker I have ever owned. Turn it on, turn it off, charge as needed, which isn’t often, and easy to move all over the house or yard. George Thorogood is telling me he is bad to the bone and OMG I have to agree! Clear crisp sound which is music to my ears! Just buy it, you won’t be sorry, you’ll be bad to the bone!

Put this next to my old beloved Bose mini link and it just blew it away, crisp highs and clean lows unbelievable sound and I’m picky, been a full time professional musician for over 40 years. My old speaker still travels with me since this new one isn’t as portable and is meant to live in the office, kitchen or bedroom. You wont believe how good it sounds!! Buy it.

Now I am not tech savvy so this is mostly on me. I read that you push blue tooth and the volume up simultaneously to make it stereo. The speaker keeps telling me to push blue tooth and volume down simultaneously. I have done both but still having trouble getting both to work. Now if you are tech savvy you will not have an issue with this. My daughter is tech savvy and worked it in a hot minute. I would buy these speakers again. I absolutely love them. And let me add that I ordered them the day before Christmas Eve and got them on Christmas Eve. Bravo Bose! A job very well done. I would like tech savvy instructions for low tech people.

The only way I like to do any work at my desk is with this speaker. Been a Bose fan for years and their speakers just keep getting better and better. Get compliments from coworkers all the time.
