Engaging sound

SoundTrue headphones II are engineered with advanced Bose technologies that ensure your music sounds deep, clear and full of life. If you really like losing yourself in your music, these headphones are designed with you in mind.

Lasting comfort

Others will have no problem noticing your headphones with their bold, updated designs. But you may forget you’re wearing them entirely. That’s because they feature a softly padded headband that distributes weight evenly across your head, and memory foam that creates a gentle cushion around your ears. So they stay light and comfortable, even during epic playlists.

A case for convenience

The audio cable attaches to a single earcup for greater freedom of movement and less tangling. It also detaches for storage. The earcups conveniently fold flat and the headband is collapsible to fit neatly into the included carrying case.

In tune and in touch

If you’re listening to music on your phone, sooner or later someone’s going to call. No problem. Take it (or ignore it) with one button on the inline mic/remote. Your music will wait. The remote also provides music control and more for select iPod, iPhone and iPad models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for everything Sound Quality: The sound quality of these headphones is the best that I have ever heard by far. They are the best way to go if you are considering any around-ear headphones. Sound goes loud if you prefer and the quality does not get any lower the louder you go. Soft music with the noise canceling was absolutely incredible and really removes you from the world and focused in. Comfort: When wearing these, they do not feel bulky at all and move with you. They do not feel like they are about to fall out at all. Very soft on the inside of the ear and comfortable to wear anywhere. Noise Canceling: When the Noise Canceling is on, It is simply the best out there. I have tried others but they do not even compare at all to these. Adding music makes it the best experience I've ever had when wearing these headphones. Best Overall: My favorite features of these headphones was the noise canceling and the music as well. Sound quality is amazing and they are also easy for storage and protection. Very happy customer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I'd had the original Bose Around Ear headphones for about 8 years and absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, I ended up losing them in my recent trip to Europe - left them on a plane (at least I know some Spanish airline worker can listen to music properly). Anyways, I had to upgrade and decided to go with the all black around-ear SoundTrue II. First of all, I absolutely love the all black design. In addition, these headphones are drastically more comfortable than my previous Around Ear's. However, the sound quality is completely different; AVERAGE. I was skeptical after listening for a week to songs that I had recently heard on my old AEs, and noticing some differences. It became evident when I decided to do a test with my sister's AE2's and my new SoundTrue II's. Listening to the exact same song on my laptop and switching headphones at multiple points in the song, I noticed that my fear had been realized, the SoundTrue's were much worse. Going from the AE2's to the ST2's, it seemed like the volume on my computer had dropped at least 40%! As a loyal Bose customer (and especially anti-Beats!), this baffled me. How could the latest and "greatest" sound worse than a 4 year old headphone?! Unfortunately I still do not have that answer, but have some theories. Thus, I am extremely disappointed and will be returning my SoundTrue II's. Form needs to follow function, always. That was my biggest critic about Beats and the biggest reason I championed Bose. Thank goodness I discovered this sooner than later; I wouldn't want to be seen as a hypocrite. Such a shame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Muddy and Dismayed I've tried several different around ear headphones from Beats to Bose. I've been a big supporter of Bose for the past several years and I've owned several in-ear models. I wanted to stick with Bose but these are falling short for me. I've had them for about a week and they bleed quite a bit of noise (at the office coworkers can easily hear my music). The low end is also a bit muddy. I've tried re EQing and adjusted volume to no avail. I wish I would have just gone for a pair of Quiet Comfort instead of these.
