Use Alexa to control your SoundTouch system

Alexa can control playback, volume and power on your SoundTouch systems, as well as provide help with commands and information about what's playing.

  • To control your system, say, "Alexa, ask Bose to" followed by a command

Note: If you have more than one system, control a specific system by saying "in the [system name]" after the command (i.e, "Alexa, ask Bose to play preset 1 in the Living room")

Examples of common commands:

Alexa can interpret command phrases in many ways. Below are some common phrases to control your system:

  • Alexa, ask Bose to turn on (or off) the Bedroom
  • Alexa, ask Bose to turn up (or down) the volume in the Dining room
  • Alexa, ask Bose to play (or pause, skip forward, skip backward) in the Living room
  • Alexa, ask Bose to play preset 3 in the Bedroom
  • Alexa, ask Bose what's playing in the Dining room
  • Alexa, ask Bose to play jazz on all speakers

Asking Alexa for help with SoundTouch system commands
