Clearing devices programmed into your remote control

If you no longer want your Bose remote to operate other devices, follow these instructions.

To deprogram your remote:

Clearing all codes

  1. On the remote control, press and hold one of the source buttons (i.e. TV) for about three seconds until all source buttons glow
  2. Press 9-8-1: The Source buttons blink rapidly, then turn off

Clearing a specific code

  1. On the remote control, press and hold the source button of the desired source for about three seconds until all source buttons glow
  2. Press 0-1-4-0: The Source buttons blink rapidly, then turn off
