Updating the software or firmware of your product
Software and firmware updates improve product features and stability. Install any available updates to keep your product working at its best.
Update your product using the Bose Hear app.
It is recommended to keep notifications enabled in the Hear app settings so you will be alerted when an update is available for your product. When available, the app displays a notification with an update icon (a downward arrow). To download and install an available update:
- Tap the Update Firmware notification bar in the app to download the update
- When the app finishes downloading the update, tap Update Now
- Follow any app instructions or prompts to complete to update
- Wait while the update completes. During this time, keep your hearing aids powered on and within range of the device running the app.
