Setting up your product
Learn how to set up your product, connect components and enjoy the benefits of all its features.
Adjust the option switches to configure the amplifier.
Use a small pen or a small, flat-tipped screwdriver to gently push the switches to their up or down positions.
|Amplifier Option Switches|
|A||Mono / Stereo||The output of the amp can be set to stereo (switch 1 up) or mono (switch 1 down). Setting the amp to mono plays both left and right channel audio through both connected speakers. This is useful in situations where a stereo output isn’t feasible, such as when outdoor speakers are used to cover a large area|
|B||Not used||This switch is not used and should remain in the default down position|
|C||Primary / Supplemental||This switch should remain in the default down position unless amps are being chained together. In such cases, this switch determines if the amp is the master amp in the chain (switch C down) or a supplemental amp in the chain (switch C up)|
|6, 7, 8 & 9||Not used||These four switches are not used and should remain in their default position: switches 6, 7 and 8 in the down position and switch 9 in the up position|
- For typical stereo single amp setups, the switches should remain in their default position (switches A and 9 up; all others down)
- After any change is made the switch configuration, the amp must be reset for the changes to take effect for proper product functionality. For more information, see Resetting your product
