"USB drivers not installed" message displayed
Your computer may show this message if there is an issue communicating with the Bose system that is connected by USB to the computer. To resolve this, try the following:
To avoid this error, don't connect the USB cable until prompted by the SoundTouch app.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the SoundTouch adapter and from the computer
- Close the SoundTouch app
- Reopen the SoundTouch app
- Restart setup and wait until the app prompts you to connect the USB cable before connecting it.
