Hau Thai-Tang, Director

Hau loves using his QuietComfort 45 Headphones around the house and on the road to listen to music, podcasts, and audio books. The combination of outstanding noise cancellation, long battery life, and remarkable comfort makes them an ideal accessory.

Hau Thai-Tang joined the Bose Board of Directors in June 2023. He brings with him extensive experience in the automotive industry, following a 34-year career at Ford Motor Company. Prior to his retirement in 2022, Hau held a variety of key strategic positions at Ford, including chief engineer for the iconic Mustang sports car and as an IndyCar race engineer.

In his role as Ford’s chief industrial platform officer, Hau led global research and advanced engineering, product development, design, manufacturing engineering, purchasing and supply chain teams to deliver an industry-leading portfolio of digitally connected internal-combustion and battery-electric vehicles.

In addition to Bose, Hau serves as a non-executive director on the board for automotive supplier BorgWarner.
