Skip Potter

Skip’s first Bose product was a SoundDock that traveled with him from Denver to London and back to San Francisco over 12 years, ensuring great sound was always part of wherever he called home.

Skip Potter is Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Bose Corporation. In this role, he oversees the company’s global operations, including information technology, data and analytics, global supply chain, global business services, workplace services, and real estate, and is responsible for strengthening operational effectiveness.

Skip joined Bose in 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience leading technology and operations transformations at global consumer brands. Most recently, he served as Chief Digital and Information Officer at Columbia Sportswear and previously as Chief Technology Officer at Nike, where he led global teams supporting direct-to-consumer businesses across digital, retail, and mobile platforms worldwide. Prior to working in the retail industry, Skip led technology teams in financial services at Capital One and in telecommunications at British Telecom.

Skip holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and completed advanced studies at the University of Denver and Stanford.
