Great fit & comfort, BAD durability.I bought my 1st-gen QC35 (no "ok Google" button) in October 2016. I do not use them on a daily basis, but mostly when I fly (8-10 times a year). It was only 2 months ago that I changed jobs, started working on coworkings & cafés and started using them 2-3 times a week (they used to sit in my backpack for weeks). I try to wipe them gently with a soft cloth after every use before I store them back in their case.
Still, even though I believe to use them lightly and handle them gently, the pads are starting to show wear. Again, I've had them for 18 months, but I wouldn't compare that to even 9 months of heavy use, and they're not in good shape.
I don't think this is okay for a product of this price range, specially THE top of the line of Bose consumer headphone portfolio.
