The simplest soundbar system from Bose

Dramatically improving your TV sound doesn't have to be complicated. The CineMate 15 system delivers the sharp, full audio you've been missing, with deep bass you may have never heard from TV before—all from a compact soundbar and hideaway Acoustimass® module. The soundbar needs just one simple connection to your TV and fits nicely in front of it, while a universal remote easily controls your TV, cable box and more. It's a lot of performance packed into a complete-yet-affordable Bose® home theater speaker system, designed to radically enhance your enjoyment of everything TV has to offer.

  • Full, impressive TV sound that spreads well beyond the soundbar itself
  • Deep bass from the Acoustimass module that brings movies, TV shows, sports and video games to life
  • Soundbar fits easily in front of TV and connects with just one cable
  • Easy-to-use universal remote controls TV, cable box and more
  • Multiple audio inputs: choice of digital optical, coaxial and analog

Small soundbar. Spacious sound.

How does a soundbar no longer than a ruler create such a wide soundstage? The four-element speaker array inside works with Bose TrueSpace® signal processing to spread sound well beyond the speaker itself. The effect is more like being in a theater, immersed in the action. And if you're playing a video game, the virtual world becomes even more real. Among soundbar speakers, this little specimen performs well beyond its size.

A system that's easy on your décor

While the system fills the room with sound, it takes up very little space. The soundbar fits right in front of your TV and connects with just one cable. Your other components can stay put and connected as is. And the Acoustimass module can be conveniently placed out of sight. Practically no impact on your room. But the way you experience TV will be forever changed.

Now, you can feel the action

While you're enjoying the newfound clarity and spaciousness the CineMate 15 system brings you, you'll also notice something entirely new—sounds you can feel. From the pulsating rhythm of a bass guitar to the dramatic effects of an action movie, you'll finally discover the low notes your HDTV couldn't come close to reproducing. All from a hideaway Acoustimass module you can place almost anywhere in the front of your room, even behind furniture.

A remote for all your components

The universal remote is likely the only remote you'll need for all your sources—Blu-ray Disc™ player, cable box and more. It's easy to program, easy to use and reduces remote clutter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Sound The CineMate 15 is an amazing little system to provide you with complete sound from your TV. Specifically, it's low profile complements today's trend of simple entertainment systems, without skimping on the sound quality. Take a little time and tweak the Acoustimass Module, program the remote, and learn the functions and you will be glad you made the purchase. We have a very simple set up, with the Xbox One providing all the AV input to the TV via HDMI (you can hook your cable box up to the Xbox One), and then the TV providing audio input to the CineMate Module via optical cable. It works wonderful, aesthetically pleasing, and I can even open the windows to the house and listen to it while driveway drinking! Cheers!

How does such a small soundbar system deliver such impressive sound?

The CineMate 15 system uses new Bose® proprietary TrueSpace® signal processing to deliver wide, spacious sound from a surprisingly small speaker, with the exciting impact of deep bass from the Acoustimass® module. And setup is quick and easy with only one connection to the TV.

How does the CineMate 15 system connect to a TV?

The audio connection is made on the soundbar itself, using either the analog, optical digital or coaxial digital audio input, depending on the TV's output type. A permanently attached audio cable connects the soundbar to the Acoustimass module, which can be hidden out of sight.

What placement guidelines should be considered to ensure optimal audio performance from the CineMate 15 soundbar speaker?

The CineMate 15 system uses the reflective surfaces of the room to deliver a spacious home theater experience. To ensure optimal audio performance, the soundbar should be placed equidistant from each side wall and directly in front-center of the TV. No objects should be placed on either side of the soundbar, nor should it be placed inside a cabinet, as this would result in a limited sound stage.

What placement guidelines should be considered to ensure optimal audio performance from the Acoustimass module?

For best sound quality, the Acoustimass module should be placed on the floor against the same wall as the television and soundbar, with an electrical outlet nearby for the power cord. The module should not be placed on a shelf or table. An extension cable (sold separately) is available if the 9 foot/3m audio cable is not long enough to connect to the soundbar.

Do I need a separate receiver with the CineMate 15 system?

No, the system connects directly to your HDTV.

Can the CineMate 15 soundbar speaker be wall-mounted?

No. The soundbar is designed for table-top placement only. There are no mounting features and/or wall bracket available for the soundbar. If you desire a soundbar that can be wall-mounted, please see our Lifestyle® 135 system.
