Jack Grealish never hits pause

“I listen to music from the moment I leave my house on the way to the training ground, when I finish eating food, my pre-match, on the way to the game; it’s just constantly,” says the pro player. As Jack gets geared up for his next match, the winger’s main wingman is music. “As an athlete, it’s so important because that’s what gets us in the mood to go and perform.” Tapping into nostalgic memories fuels him for what’s ahead, as he blasts songs that remind him of when he “was young and getting in the mood for a game.”

Jack’s love of music pours into his passion for DJing. The budding DJ and natural entertainer always has his audience in mind when playing tracks, likening playing music to playing soccer. “We’re like entertainers for the crowd. Obviously, we love [playing soccer], but when you’re playing, you’re entertaining for thousands of people. And that’s what DJs do as well.”
